Eventually I’ll start blogging again.
Did you know I was a mommy-blogger for an entire decade? From 2008 to 2018, before it was cool 😂 (Was it ever?) It was, however, therapeutic for my quiet soul as I was also slipping slowly into deafness. Then I had bilateral cochlear implant surgeries in 2017 and 2018, and I entered a season of sensory overwhelm. Sound is beautiful and incredible and emotional and miraculous and exhausting. So I gave myself grace for the season I was in. I chose to be mindfully present in the experience of relearning to hear. But I do love to write, so eventually I’ll start blogging again.
